In the pass election ever since the Pakatan Rakyat alliance was formed, Parti Keadilan Rakyat or PKR under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has always employed this tactic of having something 'unveiling' to announce.
The pass 'unveiling' announcements were nothing but mere farts and this 'cry wolf' tactic is starting to get old, moldy and lame. As the by-election for Bukit Selambau nears, PKR yet again has got some 'major surprise' to announce that they claim will determine the outcome of the said polls.
Think that those expecting a bomb of an announcement tonight will be nothing but passing wind into the night. Poor sympathizers of the party as usual will be bitterly disappointed again. PR has lost its political footing and all this said revelations are nothing but gimmicks to get crowds to attend their 'ceramahs' after all having a near empty 'ceramah' is even more embarrassing than losing the election.

It’s ok if the Government but if it’s the Opposition then it is not
One of the most telling factors that you know you might have chosen to be on the wrong side is that your opposite counter part gets whatever he or she wants.
That is what the 15 Pakatan Rakyat leaders must have been thinking when their party approved the purchase of RM130,000.00 Toyota Camrys each for their official use. This deal would cost the party about RM2million and has come under scrutiny from Barisan Nasional. Being the opportunist that BN are, Pakatan Rakyat has been accused of minding their own welfare more than that of the people. Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo was quick to the draw and seize this issue to criticize the opposition coalition.
It is quite audacious actually for Toyo to criticize such purchases as when he was the Menteri Besar of Selangor, he approved a purchase of 1 unit Mercedes S350L worth almost RM1million for his personal use with the funds from Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad. The Selangor state government had to bear that extravagant purchase and in the end the ones really paying for their luxuries is us, the tax paying Malaysians.

Jawah Gerang joins PKR
Former 5 term MP for Lubok Antu constituency here in Sarawak has joined Parti Keadilan Rakyat together with 1000 of his supporters. Their membership application was officially handed to PKR secretary-general Datuk Salehuddin Hashim at a ceremony in Sri Aman on Christmas eve.
More worries for BN and Taib as it seems that more and more leaders in Sarawak are now crossing over to join the opposition. What will the BN and Taib do next to counter this ever growing threat??? Maybe they will come up with new immigration laws where IC and passport is no more important but having a BN member card can get you access into this state.

No entry into Sarawak
After spending much of our state's funds in promoting tourism to Sarawak and what does the government do, they deny people entry into the state.
Pakatan Keadilan Rakyat or PKR Member of Parliament for Padang Serai N. Gobalakrishnan was denied entry into Sarawak by immigration officers under orders from the government at the Kuching International Airport.
Gobalakrishnan quoted :
"The moment I reached the airport, immigration officers told me that I am not allowed to enter due to instructions from the state government".
"The immigration officer gave me a notice which reads ‘Tuan bukan rakyat Sarawak, tidak berhak untuk masuk ke Sarawak tanpa permit atau pas Akta Imigresen 1959-1963′ (You are not a citizen of Sarawak and are not eligible to enter Sarawak without a permit or immigration pass)."
The PKR Member of Parliament left on the next available flight out of Kuching.
What an embarrassing and conceited move by our government to stop the opposition machinery into entering the state. Deplorable is what it is. That's how despicable the UMNO-BN Government are. Recent news about DAP's new rural branches getting tremendous support have definately sent shivers through the Government. As seen recently of SUPP's statement that they never neglected the Iban communities and now deny access of an opposition party leader into the state. Clearly an act of cowardness from UMNO, BN and Taib's administration.

Joke of the day.....
And today's winner for the "Joke of the day" goes to the Chief Minister of Sarawak Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud for his comment that PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's credibility is doubtful.
He was commenting on Anwar's failed attempt to topple the BN government as promised on Sept 16, 2008. Have to admit that Anwar's failed promise has some what taken the gloss off the shine.
Now that Pakatan Rakyat and Anwar have realised that their key to victory is the votes in Sarawak and now efforts have been put in to bringing the party here. Don't think it needed rocket science Mr. Ibrahim to know the importance of the votes in Sarawak but I guess realising it now is better than later.
With the good turn out and show of support to Anwar and PR in Sibu recently, Taib is sure to be a little sore. Feeling restless and threaten as the possibility of the state election soon, Taib has jump the gun and started to his attack by character assasinating Anwar.
Well Mr. Taib, Anwar's credibility might have been somewhat shot but at least he still has character to doubt unlike you. All Sarawakians know what a lying cheat and corrupted dictator you are.....!!!

Strong Dayak winds in Sarawak sending shivers up Taib's arse!!!
Ngemah state representative, Gabriel Adit along with former PRS Balleh division publicity chief Beginda Minda and 12,000 Sarawakians have applied to join Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's Parti Keadilan Rakyat or PKR.
Their application forms were submitted to the PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim at a huge dinner gathering in Sibu which saw more than 4,000 people in attendance. During his speech at the function, Adit, a four term assemblyperson, told the crowd that the main reason for joining PKR was due to the "political castration" of the Dayak under the BN state government.
"Enough is enough of BN. Now change is coming to Sarawak." he said, adding that there are many BN members waiting to join PKR.
The Dayak community of Sarawak are disgruntled with the BN government's management (maybe mismanagement is more of a right word) of native customary rights land.
This land rights issue has been going on for quite some time now. Groans and moans from the Dayaks of being short changed or forced out from their land by the government is an everyday norm here in Sarawak. Some more intelligent once will make it known publicly and some not so fortunate ones doesn't even know that they've been had till it's too late to do anything about it.
Now with PKR and people like Adit fighting for them, we do hope that the Dayaks will finally get what they deserve being one of the true natives of this land of the Hornbills.
Former PRS Balleh division publicity chief Beginda Minda joining up with PKR will add even more strength and dimension to the party here in Sarawak. This feistly fella resembles the spicy pepper that Sarawak is famous for. He was forced to leave the state BN component party following his bold call for the Chief Minister and his 2 deputies to step down.
Over the years under the same Chief Minister and BN administration, we Sarawakians are not spared from the marginalisation, poverty, oppression and discriminations as faced by our counterparts in other states. It is a plague that is killing Malaysia slowly and must be rid of as soon as possible. Failure to adhere to these dictator ministers then consequences such as lost of job, tenders and projects, you will have to bear. Now with the 12,000 new PKR members with a promise of more to come the government will not think that they can always have their way and get away with things like they have grown use to over the past 20 years or so.
News of such turn out in support of PKR must have ruined Chief Minister and long time UMNO suck up, Taib Mahmud's weekend. Honestly, don't think majority of Sarawakians will pity Taib at all. This white haired demon and his family has been sucking Sarawak and its people dry all these years and it is time for him to go.
It is time for the people of Sarawak to unite and fight for our rights as Sarawakians. It is time to fight to ensure that the 'Burung Kenyalang' will forever fly free from the racist and oppressive UMNO and BN.

Anwar to be charged on Thursday 07.08.2008 @ 10pm
KUALA LUMPUR: Police on Wednesday served notice to PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to appear at the Jalan Duta sessions court here at 10am Thursday.
The notice was served at Anwar's house, says his lawyer Sankara Nair.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar confirmed that the police had served Anwar with a written notice requesting he present himself at the Jalan Duta Sessions Court here at 10am Thursday to answer to sodomy charges.
It is learnt that Brickfields CID chief Deputy Supt Jude Pereira served the order on Anwar personally at his house in Bukit Segambut at about 12.15pm Wednesday.
"We carried out our investigations in accordance with the existing laws of our country and forwarded our findings to the Attorney-General's Chambers for their advice.
"The A-G's Chambers has decided to charge Anwar,'' he said.
Anwar is expected to be charged either under Section 377A or Section 377C of the Penal Code.
Section 377A covers carnal intercourse against the order of nature and carries a maximum of 20 years' jail and whipping.
It reads as follows: "Any person who has sexual connection with another person by the introduction of the penis into the anus or mouth of the other person is said to commit carnal intercourse against the order of nature."
Section 377C reads: "Whoever voluntarily commits carnal intercourse against the order of nature on another person without the consent, or against the will, of the other person, or by putting the other person in fear of death or hurt to the person or any other person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than five years and not more than 20 years, and shall also be liable to whipping."
Sections 377A and 377C are both non-bailable offences. However, under Section 388 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the court has the discretion to grant bail. -The Star 06.08.2008

UMNO-PAS merger just to gain the 2/3 majority in Parliament, why it won't make things better...
Recent hot topic has been the possibility of an UMNO-PAS merger. The reason for this proposed merger or cooperation is cause both once rival parties have finally realise that they have become weak and not the propaganda that they are promoting of the need for Malay unity.
PAS has won more seats in Parliament yhan ever before and has even won administration over the state of Kedah but it is the weakest party in the opposition coalition or the Pakatan Rakyat. This cannot be what PAS was expecting when it decided to tone down its Islamic State ambition in order to join up with DAP and PKR. I am sure PAS has always wanted to succeed UMNO in being the dominant and ruling Malay party in Malaysia but it has gone all pear shaped for them despite a good showing in the recent 2008 general election, it is not even a dominant party in the opposition coalition...Hahaha!!!
As for UMNO, DSAAB must not have been amused with their failure of not getting the 2/3 majority in Parliament therefore is unable to revise amendments to the constitution or worst, to introduce his own amendments. As the 2008 general election has shown DSAAB that he is weak, to make matters worst his coalition partners do not show much respect for him. Then getting a telling to by our DYMM on the Menteri Besar appointment issue didn't do his leadership ratings much good either.
I light of this, the proposed cooperation between UMNO-PAS might just be a way for DSAAB to gain his 2/3 majority and for PAS to be amongst the big boys. What's the scary part of this all is DSAAB might offer a second Deputy Prime Minister post to PAS president, Abdul Hadi Awang and some ministership to other PAS leaders just to 'angkat bola' and smoothen the merger transition. Some sweeteners are definately needed, hmmm.....
But even so, I am sure DSAAB will face strong oppositions from coalition partners like MCA, Gerakan and MIC. Neither would Sabah and Sarawak coalition partners take a liking at such a cooperation happening. This will lead to an even more shaky UMNO as its members will not relish the thought thatsome high ranking ministerial post will be given to their erstwhile rivals.
Such a coalition will give DSAAB his much desired 2/3 majority and provide a doorway for PAS to be in the government but it is not likely going to please the electorate. Main concern of the Rakyat in a whole is with the weak leadership of DSAAB. With the participation of PAS in BN with DSAAB leading it will not make him stronger and smarter leader. He will still be the same old lame duck Badawimp but now with the power of the 2/3 majority. Now that is damn frightening thought!!!
The said coperation won't do much good or PAS either accept the fact that they achieve their life long ambition of being one of the ruling party in the government. In the end their fate will be the same as way back then when they cooperated with the old UMNO, they have no say, no power and are discarded into the corner. They will suffer more limitations to their Islamic State preaching and this will not go down easy with its leaders and members alike. In the end I foresee the leaders and members of PAS will jump ship or form a new party and this will weaken the already weak PAS, hence weaken BN, UMNO, DSAAB and the government as well. The net gainer of this all will be none other than DSAI and PKR.
"I believe Malay unity is not a matter of Malay political parties embracing each other. Malay unity should be entrusted to politically uncommited Malays. Neither UMNO nor PAS have the credibility for this task. PAS has already laid down conditions. If UMNO accepts these conditions it will lose its non-Malay partners. On the other hand if PAS gives up its stated views on hudud and qisas etc it will lose the support of its followers" -Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad
A compromise will definately be worked out between them but it may have already raised doubts and supporters of both parties would have already lose faith in their leaders. These are the dilemma faced by the cooperation or merger of UMNO-PAS.
Doesn't DSAAB understand that to strengthen back UMNO and BN, and to restore confidence of the Rakyat back to the government is just darn simple...RESIGN!!! And please please don't name DSNTR to take over. That C4 planting, anal loving, mistress murderer is just as useless and lame.
Guess the Rakyat's dream of a leader who is not influenced by his or his families' greed and the wilingness to sacrifice for the mutual good of the nation will most probably just remain what it is...a dream. In my opinion I would say that since we most probably can't realise that dream so the next best thing would be Rais Yatim or even Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah. Both would be even better, one as the PM and one as DPM.
The system we have in Malaysia has worked for past nation leaders for more than 50 years already. That shows that it is not the failure of the system but it is the failure of the present leadership to make the system work.
