Police in Ipoh today detained 50 members of the Oppressed People Network (JERIT) who were riding bicycles from Kuala Kangsar on their way to the city.
The group aged between 13 and 16 clad in red T-shirts were detained for questioning, had their statements recorded and ICs checked by the police but was later released unconditionally. The road block was said to be set up just to intercept these peaceful cycling children.
Oi!!! Apa la, you police got nothing else better to do or criminals to catch ka???
No wonder crime rate is so high in Malaysia now, all the police are busy setting up road blocks to check cycling children's ICs.
