Parliament and Malaysian politics officially welcome the return of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after an absence of 10 years on the 27th of August 2008.
Former opposition leader, Lim Kit Siang (DAP - Ipoh Timur), was overjoyed by the occassion of the return of their charismatic leader that during question time in the Parliament sitting, he used that opportunity to give his welcome speech instead...
"With the success of the second political tsunami in Permatang Pauh and the coming of the 'Titanic' next time..." he said, while his voice was drowned out by Barisan Nasional backbenchers who shouted at him not to waste time and told him to ask the relevant question.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz rudely stood up and interrupted Lim, much to the displeasure of the DAP veteran.
"I admit there is such a thing as tsunamis and titanics in politics, and that is why your seat has been blown to that side." said Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz refering to the first seat of the opposition bench which is designated as the Opposition Leader's seat.
Lim is now sitting four places away from his original seat, the Opposition Leader's seat, which he was occupying before the March 8 general election.
Damn good punt there Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.....HAHAHA!!!
